LET'S COMMUNICATE! was a capacity building project in the field of youth lead by Taka Tuka Society (Slovenia) in partnership with Teatar Tirena (Croatia) and Moradokmai Home-school and community (Thailand).

It aimed at improving language skills of young people with speech, language and communication difficulties and with hearing impairment to enable them to actively participate in educational process as well as social life.

For this purpose experts of special education, drama in education and languages worked together, to create (language) learning process based on drama techniques and to apply it in project activities together with young people. During its implementation two groups (Slovenian and Thai) of youth actively participated in project activities. They learned international sign language and English through drama, lead workshops for their peers, helped in organising local events, attended youth exchange, presented their experience at local schools and public events.

Consortium members were meeting in different locations to share their knowledge and develop useful material for their communities. The result of these meetings were educational books for using drama techniques for fostering social and communication skills and learning languages. The books are useful for special and mainstream education.

Furthermore, they trained pedagogical workers from different educational settings on using developed resources with their students.

Project's final event was 8. international educational drama and theater conference "The Power of Communication" in Ljubljana. The conference offered a series of lectures, workshops and discussion about educational theater and drama where a special part wason benefits of drama for inclusion of young people with special needs.
